While the quality of the extensions is very good and they fit well, the instructions could be clearer. Each extension rail is different and the instructions do not let you know which one goes on which side of the seat. You have to try and figure it out from the not always clear pictures. Took me about 45 minutes to install on my 2015 leaf.
We have a drivers side install and it is great in our 2014 Nissan Leaf. Just ordered the passenger side with the help of online support from Shane. Great customer service. Thank you Shane and great product.

I just installed your adapters in my 2011 LEAF. The product looks great, but it fits even better. I do not remember an aftermarket item that was so well engineered. Beautiful job! II had to modify my LEAF for hand controls and lost too much space under the steering column to be able to get my long legs in and out of the car. Thank you for letting me keep driving my year old electric.
No instructions are available for this model year so it took a lot of trial and error to find the correct position for my 2015 Leaf. The older Leaf year's video gets you close, but it still took some time. The 30 minute install time advertised is generous. I'm not by any means incompetent, but it still took me more than an hour and half to install these brackets. Additionally, they don't perfectly fit the 2015 leaf. The brackets overhang on the front by about 1 1/2 inches. I did what Ken did and took a hammer to them to bend them down so they didn't snag anything when getting in and out of the car. Bending them was actually quite difficult, the effort I had to go through to bend the brackets with the hammer is a testament to their construction quality. All that said, the trouble was well worth it. My 6'4" body now fits much better in my Leaf. No more leg cramps on the freeway for me!
I also installed a set of brackets in my 2015 Accord and that went quick and easy using the instructions. I could not find instructions or a video for the 2013 to present Leaf brackets. So I ended up doing some trial and error before finding the correct orientation in my 2015 Leaf. I docked one star because the front of the brackets are 2" too long and protrude out conspicuously. That added to the installation confusion since it does not look right. I was afraid the left bracket would snag a heel when entering the car so I bent it down with a sledge hammer and it now conforms to the shape of the seat mounting hump. Don't let this minor flaw deter you from installing this kit in you 2013 to present Leaf. The fit is perfect and the comfort I now experience is nothing short of phenomenal (I'm 6' 6" tall).
