    2013 Nissan Leaf

I asked about 2013 Leaf. I asked why so many said it did not fit right. The response was, "We don't know why they said it does not fit right." They said because it is true and correct. The base of the interior seat bracket hits the interior tunnel. Can not fit without modifying the bracket or the seat base. Impossible. But it does work well once something is butchered.

Work Great! Sturdy brackets, Poor Hole alignment

When I opened the box I was VERY impressed with how heavy duty they were, and with how nicely painted (with a texture) they were. Felt like powder coating. Not sure. Installation was diffecult. My 2013 Nissan Leaf back right screw hole didn't line up at all. I used a clamp to slide the seat to try to line up to the EMS bracket hole, but still would not line up. I had to enlarge the seat hole with a Dremel to get the bolt in. Unfortunate and time consuming. Now that the seat slides so far back, I am WAY happy with how much more room I have. Driving is SO much more comfortable. Highly recommended. But if they don't redo these, plan to fidget with them to get them in.

Do you believe in good endings?

It works. We cut the tie wire to the seat and there is enough room for the seat to go back!! I'm in heaven. The car is so much more comfortable. Thank you for your patience. Sorry we couldn't have done it without you,

All the leg room I want

Only 4 stars for poor installation instructions and price of product. I have a 2012 Nissan Leaf and as another reviewer stated you need both a 14mm AND 16mm socket wrench, not just the 14mm as stated in the directions. Also, according to the directions, you figner tighten all the bolts then fully tighten them. This is impossible due to the location of the EMS bolt on the rear right of the seat. I had to first completely tighten the EMS bracket on the rear right (to the floor) then attach the seat to the EMS brackets. The right rear bolt is covered by the orginal seat rails which makes it impossible to tighten once you put the seat on top. If I knew this (and the fact you need a 16mm socket) from the start the install would have taken much less time. Now it is the first time in my life I don't fully extend my seat when I get in a car. I'm 6'3". I'm also not hitting my knees on the steering wheel when I enter and exit the car.

    Riding In Comfort

I'm now riding in comfort in my Leaf, able to fully extend my legs. I recommend the "extendmyseat.com" product to anyone driving a small car who has an inseam over 34". Its a huge improvement in comfort.

    Good result...Difficult install

I have a Nissan Leaf 2013 Firstly, you definitely need a socket set as stated on the instructions. There are two types of bolts needed to secure the seat. So you need both 14 and 16 metric sockets. The holes drilled on the brackets are fine but the rear drill holes are just slightly off. Maybe because this is a 2013 model? With this in mind, you'll need someone to help you at some point in the process, to apply pressure whilst you push and tighten the bolts into position. The seat works well once you have it installed.

Big Guy in Little Car (it works now!)

I ordered these on the same day that I purchased our Leaf, and am thankful for the expedited shipping option. I am 6'11" and have a 40" inseem, so knowing about this product before buying the Leaf was one of the single most important variables in deciding to get the car. The four factory bolts are bigger than what the directions state, but it wasn't an issue. Now, if we just had an option to telescope the steering wheel!

    Exactly What I Needed!

After driving my Leaf 50 miles home from the dealership, I realized I needed just a couple more inches of seat travel to get comfortable. I'm 6'3" with a 36" inseam, so more leg than upper body. I searched "mynissanleaf.com" and came across positive reviews for these seat extenders and I installed them just a week after purchasing the car. I don't use the full seat travel now which is a first for me in my 40 years of driving!

Where Was EMS 50 Years Ago!

The legroom is terrific! My only regret is that I didn’t have ems 50 years ago.

I will absolutely have them in every car I own from now on.

I am 6'6" tall and very few vehicles fit me. I bought the Leaf, and it was merely "OK" like every other vehicle I've owned. Then I heard about "extend my seat".com. At that moment, they were in pre-order for the Leaf and I clicked yes immediately. A few weeks later the extension brackets showed up. They were easy to install, taking only a few minutes. What an immediate difference!! I moved the seat back all the way, as is my habit in every vehicle, and it was much too far. I moved the seat forward to the point that "Felt good" and drove. I've had the rails a couple of months now and I absolutely love them. They make the Leaf my favorite car to drive. Also, my wife found a great use for the extended rails that we didn't foresee: When eating in the car (yah, we try not to do that, but it happens), set the rails all the way back and the driver has room to eat! Absolutely great. Returning to my daily drive of the car, the extenders have changed everything for me. I will absolutely have them in every car I own from now on.
