Works great with 2006 Hybrid 4wd

I decided to go ahead and try the EMS product even though the hybrid wasn't listed as being able to accomodate the brackets due to concern about electronics under the driver's seat. I didn't see any problem, myself, and it turns out that in my 2006 Toyota Highlander Hybrid Sport, the Extend-My-seat product works perfectly. I did not need to make any modifications at all. Very happy with all the room to stretch, and the ease of install.

Well made product but ............

......... my item was back-ordered, which I didn't know when I ordered. The delivery took ~5 weeks. Too long, especially without notifying me when I ordered that the product didn't exist & had to be manufactured to complete my order. The seat extensions are well made; custom designed to fit. & they did, except for the last bolt. It would not go in. I will try to adjust it later, when it is warmer outside. Maybe I can jigger the entire setup enough to get that last bolt in. It misses it's mark by fractions of an inch. I'm not sure if it is a manufacturing problem or my fault so I can not blame Extend My Seat until I see who is at fault. $225 seems a bit excessive for two (laser formed/measured) pieces of steel. Yes, they are well made & formed; no rough edges, but still, that is a lot of money. & I'm not sure if they missed the line up for the bolts (see above). Now The Good: I have always loved my car, a Toyota Highlander. It is a great all-around vehicle. But I'm 6'3" & Totota needed to add ~3 or 4 " to their driver seat rails. That is what this product does. I always drive every car w/the seat fully back, but not w/the Extend My Seat rails installed. I have plenty of room & it has fixed a problem that has annoyed me since the first day I bought this car. So, even w/the slow delivery & last-bolt problem I have to say I'm happy. I probably should have done this years ago.

Stretch Out and Relax!

Very happy with the ExtendMySeat for Toyota Highlander! It arrived on time. Install was simple, but due to two glitches, it took longer than the half-hour standard time. First, the instructions talked about an In and Out markings on the brackets. Mine had no such markings, but since the two brackets were identical in size and shape, that didn't matter, I just assumed either bracket would work on the inside or outside locations relative to the console. Second, the rear bolts provided by EMS were not long enough due to my car having a reverse flare of the bolt hole in the OEM seat bracket compared to the picture in the instructions. Local hardware store supplied the longer bolts I needed. Not a big problem. Really simple to install, I was amazed. Test drive was good but lower back pain resulted from the lumbar curve of the seat back which I had not noticed before on this car. Three days later I drove the car 500 miles and the back pain was mild. Four days after that, I returned home with no pain. My back just got used to sitting in the seat in a "normal" position. I bought this 2005 Highlander new, and shortly after realized that there isn't enough legroom. Too bad i didn't know about EMS then, Now i don't have to trade this car for something else. I looked and looked for a better car but couldn't find any. Now I will keep this car until it dies. There is slightly less headroom, but thats not a problem. My wife notices no difference in the seat because it adjusts to her size as it always did.

Do not suffer discomfort one more day!

I rate this product a 10/10, If 10 is standing on top of the Empire State Building with a megaphone then 10 Do not suffer discomfort one more day! Wish I had done this years ago! A really easy fix for a problem , which should not exist in the first place, if small Asian car designers did not impose their body types on large Western people!

The product is fantastic. Vehicles that were not on the radar due to legroom can now can be considered.

Please make brackets for more vehicles. But please do not compromise the product or the process. Some would call me crazy but I will not buy another vehicle without cross checking the compatible vehicles for extend my seat.

Legroom is Epic

Wanna drive a small car and be frugal but you're 6'6"? Better extend your seat. If you are taller than the average you don't have to explain
