I can’t believe I drove around for 3 years without these. The few inches of extra legroom really make a difference for a 6’3” guy like I. Installation was reasonably easy. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who feels cramped in his car.
Installed in a 2020 Honda Fit Sport. Install was straightforward. I did find it helped to run the bolts through the fittings beforehand--I had one bolt that was a tiny bit stiff going in. also, I had to loosen both front brackets (once installed) to allow the front seat rails on the seat frame to align correctly. once everything lined up install was easy. Impressions: the actual rails are beefy and stiff. This seat isn't going anywhere. I have an extra 3" of room, so now I can raise the seat up to my liking and find the perfect spot. The Fit has gone from being an OK car for me to being an outstanding car. I'm 6'3", and what I like about the Fit is that it has a TON of headroom--I can raise the seat a few inches. combined with the fore and aft adjustment, the car is now perfect. And should I ever switch to the HRV, I can just bring the rails over with me. Only bad thing is that the rear seat mats behind the drover's seat don't fit as well. but that is a minor issue and can be resolved by trimming the rubber mat, or by squeezing the carpeted mat under the rail. Thanks for making such a great product. Wish I had found you guys sooner!

I bought the Drivers side brackets for my 2015 Honda Fit. They were very easy to install, I had them done in about an hour and had never dealt with them before. All the bolts worked as they should, proper threads and length. I am not a tall person, only 5' 10", but long legs and didn't have the approximately 3 or 4 clicks back I needed for keeping my right leg straight with the throttle. Folding it to the right caused my right hip to hurt on long drives. These brackets worked great to remedy the issue. Although they appear to stand behind their product for reliability, they force you to agree to waive your rights to any failure issues from the product. That is understandable in the fact that they are not installing them, but makes you feel uncomfortable about their confidence in their product being 100% solid and safe. If one of their welds break, it could be a huge problem for example. I feel the price is pretty steep for them, even though they are custom sized. I text them to ask if they could confirm for me that these will fit on the 2018 Honda Fit and never got a reply. This says very little for their caring for me as a customer. Although I believe they should fit the latest model as there have been little changes, it would be nice to know for sure as I am looking to trade up to the latest year model.
Easy Install, done in 15 min and has a solid feel. Creates much needed leg room for my 6'4" self in the subcompact 2015 Honda Fit. Now longer trips are more comfortable and efficient as I can fully stretch out my legs without stopping the car. Nothing is perfect-the new seat position effects the drivers side arm rest ergonomics.. while not ideal, its a worthy sacrifice for the extra legroom. This product is still a good value and a 5 star rating is appropriate given my experience.
I installed it on my 2015 Fit on the passenger side. It's worth noting that the thread size on the OE mounting bolts and the bolts given are NOT interchangable. I was handtightening a bolt and realized that it wasn't going in as smoothly as it should, and then realized that I was putting in the wrong bolt. I'm not sure why a company would ship the same diameter & socket size bolt, but with a vastly different thread size. The good: - It extends the passenger seat a few inches back The bad: - The rear floormat no longer fits. - The plastic seat bracket covers no longer fit - It didn't come with plastic OE style bolt caps. Not a big deal, but it is rather unsightly.
I installed the brackets on my 2016 Honda Fit yesterday. The fit was perfect. The extra legroom makes a huge difference in driving comfort.
