I just wanted to write u about the thoroughly enjoyable experience I had with your company. The product was very clearly shown and easy to order. The order showed up in a matter of about 4 business days and the instructions were clear and concise allowing for an extremely easy install. I have a 2013 RAV4 Limited and the installation took 30 minutes tops.
You definitely get the legroom you need, but unless you also have long arms like I do, you may not be able to use all the legroom available. Installation was a breeze. No issues here. Was involved in an accident that totaled out my Rav4 and the seat did not coming off the brackets nor did the brackets fail in any way, shape or form. As I have seen this as a concerned by some members of the Rav4 forum, I thought this would be useful information. My only concern is the cost. IMHO they seem over priced. Still, I was glad I spent the money.

The rails were installed in less than an hour, and they are fantastic! The driver's seat in my Rav4 now slides easily and clicks securely into place with a tremendous amount of space available. The rails do not interfere with the seat's original position, just offer more room to extend backward, so others can drive my car just as comfortably as I can. While I'm not a terribly tall person, I am rather heavy and need the space between me and my steering wheel, and your rails are the perfect solution to my problem!
Love these Extenders, My wife just got her prosthesis and was unable to bend her leg. These Extenders did away with that. They were easy to install. It took about 30 minutes to finish. We have a 2012 RAV4. Thanks for this Great product.
I would not have bought my Rav4 without knowing about the EMS brackets.
This is something that Toyota should offer to it's loyal customers instead of hiding the fact that this awesome product exsists. f you're on the taller side and are frustrated with the limited legroom that car manufacuters offer you, then Extend My Seat is the answer you're looking for. The only draw back is that a majority of the leg room built into a car extends under the dash. With Extend My Seat you create more than adequate legroom but you have to play to get your arm length to a comfortable position.
I wanted to share my story with you... My name is Manny ...I am 40 and live in the “land of OZ” a.k.a. Kansas.... When I was 16, I was hit by a Drunk Driver. This changed my life forever.Yes I did survive after she left me for dead. I have had 23 operations. I spent 2 years in bed, 1 1/2 in a wheel chair and 6 months to learn to walk as I did not want to be disabled like that for the rest of my life. I have pins/rods and plenty of nerve damage…my body is scarred… let alone the brain damage as well and ugly for life. Yet I am still here for some reason. I am not rich. I am 6' 2” and have learned to live in pain....Ask me what that does to ones blood pressure......Not so good! So…due to my problems I am left with only a few cars I can buy that get good MPG that I can fit in and get in and out of without issues ...Now I fit in any VW, Mercedes Benz, BMW, etc....but $$$$$$$ L And I wanted an AWD ....I really want a Diesel but that’s a whole other story. So I got a 2013 Toyota Rav4 limited AWD. And I needed a few more inches.... Who doesn’t? I came across this forum (you guys rule) in my Google search.... And to make a long story short, I found out about extendmyseat.com So I sent Griffin a message and he said we don’t have a 2013 rav4 to test and take measurements. He asked if I was in the CA area and I said no- I am in the land of OZ (KS). I asked him to call me and he did. I said I would go out the next day and take the seat out, take pictures and measure the chassis for him. Griffin said that it looked like the frame is the same as a 2012 ...He said I will send you a 2012 set to try and if it works you may have them. I was shocked as no one has EVER done something like this for me! I told him a bit about me, took a picture of my handicapped tag to show that I am real and not some storyteller. Well today they arrived to my surprise via UPS (and he paid for that too). THANK YOU!!!! WOW!!!! I got a set of “Extend My Seat” rails... And guess what ...IT WORKS!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG! My leg snapped (they do that when I adjust myself) …crack, crack pop…then ouch… And then the pain went away and circulation went back to for what is normal for me. My foot was no longer blue! I felt so much better within 15 min of driving my newly extended Rav 4..... I want to say to anyone that needs more room…PLEASE do this! Its money well spent! A very well built frame…I want to personally thank Griffin and Extend My Seat for everything and allowing me to enjoy driving again. ....Thank you!!!!! Manny
